The State Legislature has changed the budget/trustee vote date to Tuesday, June 3.  Accordingly all other required dates have changed as well.  The informational budget hearing scheduled for this Tuesday, May 6 must now take place at the May 20 Board meeting.  THUS, THERE WILL BE NO BOARD MEETING THIS TUESDAY, MAY 6.

 

In addition, the State legislature has also tentatively restored some education funding to a proposed budget.  We are hopeful that there will be a definitive budget in place within the next two weeks that will allow us to reduce the estimated tax levy to the community.  We will keep you updated on its progress.
