Nyack Connect Request for Proposal (RFP)

 

The Nyack Union Free School District (NUFSD) herein requests sealed open-ended proposals for the “Nyack Connect Project”, for the implementation and management of an Internet-based communications network system.

 

The proposals shall be delivered by January 28, 2004 at 12:00 noon to Nyack Schools Administrative Building, Department of Technology, 13A Dickinson Avenue, Nyack, New York 10960.

 

The system will provide connectivity between teachers, administrators, students, parents and the community.  At minimum, the system must be capable of providing private electronic messaging (without advertisements), online calendars, community e-mail messaging, and online private and public interactive communities.  In addition, the system must be customizable, provide dual language capability, file storage and sharing, school and personal web pages, and be able to provide parents with secure access to their child’s information.  For more information, please contact the NUFSD’s Department of Technology at 845-353-7040 or 845-353-7023.
