SIX NYACK STUDENTS SELECTED AS ALL STATE MUSICIANS

Six Nyack High School students were selected for the Area All State (Zone 9) performing groups by the New York State Music Association and performed at the concert at Liberty High School on November 16 and 17. They have been chosen to perform with the best high school students from five counties in the Hudson Valley.

The honor was a result of their NYSSMA music rating last Spring and the recommendations of their music teachers. Thousands of students auditioned for this honor last spring at solo and ensemble ratings sessions throughout the State.
