Nyack School District families must submit special school bus transportation requests for the 2005-2006 school year to the District Transportation Office by April 1, 2005, according to State Education Department Law. Special requests refer to transportation to private and parochial schools and to/from day care providers.

Private and parochial school transportation is provided for students living more than one mile and less than 15 miles from the school. Requests must be renewed each year. Transportation to/from day care is provided only if the day care address is within the student’s school attendance zone boundary and must be for all days that school is in session.
