POLICY FOR PARTICIPATION:
The Nyack Board of Education considers
the concerns of community members to be an important part of its
decision making process and encourages public participation in
Board meetings.
Regular Business Meetings:
The Board invites public comments
on any subject at each regular business meeting. When possible
and appropriate, the Board also
encourages joint Community/Board
discussion at this time.
The Board invites members of the
community to speak on action items at each meeting as indicated
on the agenda.
We ask that individual comments
be limited to three minutes.
All expressed concerns will be
considered by the Board though there will be no personal or direct
response at this time.
Workshop Sessions:
These sessions provide opportunities
for the public to observe the Board at work.
The Board invites comments, suggestions,
and concerns from the public at each session.
We ask that individual comments
